March 22

Speaking only for ourselves, we can say that, in times like these we learn very quickly how little we know.
One week ago we were concerned with how to sell the food that we plan in normal circumstances for our restaurant customers.  We hoped to get 5 or 10 people a day to stop by and buy a few things (yes, seriously), so we sent an email to our CSA members and posted on Facebook, and people forwarded that message to their friends, and they to their friends, etc., etc..  Long story short, we have been absolutely overwhelmed with the support for our farm and the demand for fresh vegetables.   The response has been so incredible that we need to take a few days to catch our breath, let things grow a little bigger, and get things cut and washed and ready to go again at the end of this week.
This coming week is typically a CSA distribution week, so to give our current CSA customers the value that they paid for in their CSA shares, we will be open on Wednesday afternoon just for CSA customers and people with Freeport Food Pantry vouchers.  (Many thanks to Freeport Community Services for stepping up to do this.)  The stand will be open to everyone on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday morning.

So, the hours for this week will be –
Sunday – Always Closed on Sunday
Monday – Closed
Tuesday – Closed
Wednesday – CSA and people with Freeport Food Pantry vouchers ONLY – noon to 6 pm
Thursday – Open 8 am to 6 pm
Friday – Open 8 am to 6 pm
Saturday – Open 8 am to noon
Sunday – Always Closed on Sunday
