Our used cooking oil (UCO) heating system was a resounding success this past winter and  is even better this year.  This past heating season we operated the new boiler for over 2,000 hours, and burned over 5,500 gallons of vegetable UCO successfully.  With heating oil prices over $3.00/per gallon this system is crucial to our economic success.  Last year we added 2 new UCO furnaces in our remaining unheated greenhouses.  These greenhouses are now in full production.
