EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE
Laughing Stock Farm, Freeport, Maine, Co-Owner - started
vegetable farm, and sell a variety of vegetables in Portland,
Maine area, to wholesale accounts and CSA member families.
Currently employ 8 full time seasonal employees to assist
in the work on 15 acres of vegetables and flowers. Farm
year round, using lightly heated greenhouses
through the winter.
Soil Lab Technician, University of Maine at Orono -
conducted chemical and physical tests to help classify
the soils of Maine
Civil Engineer, E.C. Jordan Co., Portland, Maine and Sevee
and Maher Engineers, Cumberland, Maine - participated in all
aspects of landfill design, including site location searches;
test pitting and test boring; design of liner systems, underdrain
systems, cover systems, access roads, leachate and storm water
detention ponds; hydrogeologic studies and groundwater models;
construction monitoring; water level and water quality testing.
